The place looks futuristic, highly polished and cold: State-of-the-art micro-optic technology that starts here and makes its way into new generations of supercomputers or into the Palo Alto space telescope. In his photographs, Markus Steur captures the artificial atmosphere of the clean room laboratory € visionary and hyperreal at the same time, yet ultimately mysterious nonetheless.
